Vol. 5, No. 2, pp. 1-6, 2025 DOI: 10.54691/en359c02 February 23, 2025
Abstract. With the growing global energy crisis and environmental pollution, developing sustainable energy technologies is urgent. Hydrogen, a clean energy source with high energy density and water as its only byproduct, is a promising alternative to fossil fuels. Electrolytic water splitting is a green hydrogen production method, but its efficiency is limited by the slow kinetics of the oxygen evolution reaction (OER). Developing efficient OER catalysts is crucial to improving this process. This article reviews the principles of electrolytic water splitting, in-cluding HER and OER mechanisms, and key … Read more →

Vol. 5, No. 2, pp. 50-55, 2025 DOI: 10.54691/36pq0a59 February 23, 2025
Abstract. The in-situ repair of heavy metals in contaminated soil is to change the status of the presence of heavy metals in soil by applying some active passivation repair materials to the soil, and by dissolving precipitation, ion exchange adsorption, redox, organic convergence and other reactions, reducing the effective concentration, migration and biological effectiveness of heavy metals in the soil. This method is low-cost, simple to operate, fast-acting and suitable for large-scale promotion, and plays an irreplaceable role in the restoration of heavy metal contaminated soil. This paper summarizes … Read more →
